QueryCrest is a South African student platform that helps students apply to universities and colleges, find bursaries and scholarships, access prospectuses, and get expert study guidance — all in one place.
Do I need an account to use QueryCrest?
Some resources are freely available without an account. However, to submit applications, track your progress, upload documents, and access your personal dashboard, you need to create a free account.
Is QueryCrest free to use?
Getting started is completely free. We also offer paid plans that give you additional application slots and priority support. Visit our Pricing page to see the options.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We use Supabase for secure authentication and data storage, and we comply with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act). We never sell your data. Read our full Privacy Policy.

Can QueryCrest help me apply to South African universities?
Yes. QueryCrest guides you through the application process for universities and colleges across South Africa. You can manage and track all your applications in one dashboard.
How many universities can I apply to?
The number of applications depends on your plan. Free accounts have a limited number of applications. Paid plans give you more slots. View our pricing for details.
What documents do I need to apply?
Typically you will need: a certified copy of your ID, your latest academic results (Grade 11 or Grade 12), and proof of address. Some institutions may require additional documents.
Can I track my application status?
Yes. Your dashboard shows the real-time status of all your applications and sends you notifications when something changes.
Bursaries & Funding
Can I apply for bursaries through QueryCrest?

Does QueryCrest handle NSFAS applications?
We guide you through the NSFAS process and provide step-by-step instructions. The actual NSFAS application must be submitted directly on the NSFAS website.
Can I apply for international scholarships?

Technical & Account
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link.
How do I contact support?
You can reach us via WhatsApp (click the green button on any page), or email us at support@querycrest.com. We typically respond within 24 hours.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings inside your dashboard and select "Delete Account". This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
